CALENDARS - The Auburn Area Historical Society (A.A.H.S.) had produced a series of calendars during past years which were quite popular, but due to an increase in the cost of ink and the loss of the individual who spearheaded this fundraiser, no calendars have been produced after 2015.
CHARLES QUAIL BOOKLET - The A.A.H.S. has produced a booklet which covers the life of Charles E. Quail, Auburn's most prolific resident. Charles Quail was incredibly versatile...a son and a father; a patriot who was wounded while serving during the war, a farmer, pharmacist, physician, business entrepreneur, community activist, socialite and even a two-term Senator. Although his life seemed incredibly blessed, it was also marred by numerous tragedies. Numerous pictures accompany this riveting narrative.
CHRISTMAS ORNAMENTS - The A.A.H.S. had offered for sale Auburn-themed historic brass-plated decorative Christmas Ornaments from 2011 through 2017. Although these ornaments were highly collectible and a favorite, the cost of producing the minimum quantity of ornaments permitted by the manufacturer exceeded the demand for the ornaments and this fund-raiser became unprofitable for the society. Copies of all past years' ornaments are still available for purchase. The themes features were: the Auburn Brick Plant; the Auburn Church of God; the Auburn Fire Company; the Auburn High School; the Auburn Hotel; the Auburn Post Office and St. John's Church.
COOKBOOKS - The A.A.H.S. had created a very nice cookbook, titled "Hometown Recipes" which contains hundreds of favorite recipes submitted by Auburn area residents. This cookbook was a limited edition printing and is currently sold out.
FORT DIETRICH SNYDER: FACT OR FOLKLORE BOOKLET - Fort Dietrich Snyder's reputation as a fortified stronghold during the French and Indian War is well-established in history books, historic maps, news articles, etc....it even has a monument installed near Rt. 183 close to the Berks/Schuylkill County border commemorating "Fort Dietrich Snyder". After extensive research, this booklet examines the "evidence" and disputes the "historic" fort even existed outside of local folklore.
FORT LEBANON BOOKLET - This booklet provides a brief glimpse of the history of Fort Lebanon and the "Indian" (Native American) atrocities claimed to have occurred in the area.
FUTURE FEATURES - Just a glimpse at some tentatively planned fund-raising merchandise.
150th ANNIVERSARY BOOKLET - The committee who planned Auburn's 150th Anniversary celebration produced a nice book pertaining not only to Auburn's 150th anniversary but also detailing some of the known history of the town.
PRESENTATION DVDS - The A.A.H.S. also offers a nice variety of educational DVDs which play in most modern DVD players or computers. These DVDs cover various historic topics pertaining to Auburn's history. Some contain only pictures with musical accompaniment while others are fully narrated. The DVD topics include:
