Donations

When someone hears the term "Donations" from an organization, it's usually perceived as "wanting money". The Auburn Area Historical Society isn't like that. Money is constantly needed and always appreciated, but some people may not have any money to spare in these tough economic times. As a result, the A.A.H.S. doesn't charge admissions to their meeting and presentations (at-will donations are gratefully accepted if offered), doesn't charge for General Membership, and keeps the charge for Lifetime Membership at a reasonable one time fee of $50.
In addition to cash, the Auburn Area Historical Society is always looking for donations of equipment and fixtures (for example, a DVD player or a display case), memorabilia (historic items, pictures or documents pertaining to the Auburn area), merchandise (for resale to generate income) and perhaps most importantly, time. Volunteers are always needed and welcome to simply assist with A.A.H.S. functions or duties such as photographing donated memorabilia, cataloging those items, displaying the items, dusting the items, conducting research, doing genealogies, fund raising, etc. If you would like to be a donor of money, equipment, fixtures, memorabilia, merchandise or time, please contact us at your earliest convenience using the form below or by using the "contact information" button below.
