Places of Worship
Updated 07/16/2019
Anyone can worship in almost any place...a person doesn't need a physical structure to be faithful to their religious convictions. Any child who has prayed at their bedside has transformed their home into a place of worship. This page is dedicated to more conventionally accepted "Places of Worship" - those structures or areas within the Auburn-area in which a group of people officially congregated on a regular basis to worship together.
Some of these structures are no longer evident after having been razed or later re-purposed for a non-religious use. Others have been abandoned for a period of time. However, at least four different church buildings within the Auburn-area are still used on a regular basis for worship by their congregations. Click on the green buttons below to be redirected to the page dedicated to that particular place of worship. |
