Available Presentations
Updated - 05/10/2023
NOTE: Due to Auburn Area Historical Society Chairperson Todd Graybill's resignation from the AAHS in 2020, the presentations listed below are no longer available at this time.
Finding a professional guest speaker to provide a relevant presentation can be difficult. Additionally, the expense of requesting a guest speaker can range from an incredibly charitable "free" speaker, to moderately priced individuals looking to simply defray their expenses, to high priced speakers who seek to make a significant income from their presentations. As a result, Todd Graybill, the Chairperson of the Auburn Area Historical Society, resorted to creating several programs which he presented to the A.A.H.S.. While some of these presentations are primarily focused on the history of Auburn, PA, others have a wider range of historic interests.
If your organization is seeking a public speaker for a presentation ranging from anywhere between fifteen minutes to one hour or more, Todd is willing to provide one (or more) of his presentations, plus remain for a "question and answer" (or feedback) session after the presentation. Todd does not charge a set fee for his presentations but instead asks for an "at will" donation with all proceeds going directly to the Auburn Area Historical Society. The organization would simply make a check payable to the "Auburn Area Historical Society" for whatever amount they are comfortable donating. A list of the topics is provided below.
