The members of the Auburn Area Historical Society would like to officially welcome you to this website. We have attempted to make this site as comprehensive yet user-friendly as possible. If you "click" on any of the green buttons, they should redirect your computer to the topic you have selected. On those pages you will find information related to that topic but on several of those pages you may even find additional buttons containing other sub-topics if the original topic required being broken down into even smaller units.
For example, if you were attempting to research an ancestor who lived in Auburn and fought in the Civil War, you would initially "click" the button labeled "People", then chose a sub-category button labeled "Military", then select a sub-sub-category button labeled "Conflicts" before finally doing one last "click" on the sub-sub-sub-category button labeled "Civil War".
Or, if you simply select the Navigational Flow Chart option, you can see a complete listing of all topics & sub-topics, and simply click directly onto the topical button you desire.
